Rubber toys are mostly made of natural rubber. This material makes the toy very robust as rubber gives way to the dog’s teeth, also preventing tooth injuries.
Rubber toys are available in many shapes and sizes, such as balls, throwing toys or toys on a rope. They are also ideal for fetching. Dog owners love these toys as they do not break apart so easily. Furthermore rubber toys can also be used as water toys for fetching games since they float, as long as they do not have any holes.
A special challenge for dogs are toys which are not as predictable as normal balls. A bouncing ring or a toy which is similar to an American football will be especially challenging for young and very active dogs. Triangles, tuggers or pentagon-shaped toys are ideal for tugging games.
